I'm about the same size as you, I really don't think size is what matters (as long as you don't have a freakishly tall Watanuki standing next to you^^). I like your Yuuko pic, especially since I know you only had three hours, and you certainly don't look too small, but you look very innocent and cute and Yuuko so isn't
Your outfit looks like something you'd wear on other occasions as well and it lacks a bit of Yuuko's flamboyantly bright colours. However, it looks very natural on you and that's a big plus and I'd always prefer real hair to the horrible wig I had and her haircut looks really good on you. (o^_^o)

Yeah, but the thing wrong with my hair is that is goes to about... the bottom of my shoulder blades, and it's curly. So if it's not up then it doesn't look right....

I don't really have many dresses, and to boot I don't have any kimino-type anythings, The only fishnet stockings I have a red (and I JUST got them recently). Plus the only reason I dressed as her is 'causer I asked my mom to cut my bangs for Shinonome Kon (Amatsuki) so I could finish the costume really quick, but the haircut came out short and the costume is still...unfortunately, unfinished.

I really liked your Yuuko though, how you presented it made you look alot longer, and when I wore that dress all it did was make me look shorter and wider. >.< It also had to have depended on what picture you saw, because I was...very Yuuko-like. I had a sake-bottle, incense for a pipe...and shounen-ai with me, just for random props. Hahaha.

I have to say that dressing as Watanuki was alot easier because he is shorter than her, but it was a choice costume between he and Yuuko, and Yuuko was a much more extravagant costume in means of clothing, even if her dress was just closet-cosplay. Watanuki's also a boy, so he isn't languid and sexy and tall and curvy, so presenting him is easier for short girls like me. XD

Unless I can actually get a Yuuko dress that flatters me (I have fat upper-arms, so the spaghetti straps were not flattering), I dunno if I'll dress as her again, but Watanuki I will do again.

Right now, I'm working on a Tokyo version of Fai for a backup-costume...and it looks amazing so far! Anyway, I really like your cosplay and I think you did a great job!

I have a fan, but I took those pics after I got home that night and I just wanted to take some shots before taking off the costume. I was so tired that I really rushed it without thinking much. I hope I'll get the chance to take some more pics next weekend ^^

You could look in some costume shop for a cheap fake kimono or sometimes you get those lingerie satin kimonos for quite little money. For a Yuuko cos that's more than enough. My costume basically consisted of one of those, a cheap corset and a huge bow. All one needs is some fantasy. XD
